Description
Instead of a chrome-plated tower, the KOMOS Kegerator boasts NukaTap faucets mounted on a stainless steel tower. This tower remains cool, thanks to a tower fan diverter that circulates cold air within the kegerator, ensuring consistently cold beer lines and reduced foaming. Your beer travels through EVABarrier draft lines, a premium double-walled tubing designed to safeguard against beer oxidation. The Duotight push-to-connect fittings make line connections effortless, eliminating the need for cumbersome hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing.
Additional standout features of the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly efficient cooling system, maintaining your beer at ice-cold temperatures even in hot environments, with a wide temperature range from 26–82°F. It also features dual gas inlets at the back, an aluminum internal floor, rolling casters for easy mobility, and an included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator.
Notably, this unit features an extended range digital controller, allowing precise temperature adjustments from 26 - 82°F. This is particularly convenient for homebrewers who often ferment at around 70°F. The digital controller consistently displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator, even with the door closed.
This KOMOS kegerator comes equipped with NukaTap faucet(s) mounted on the stainless tower. NukaTap faucets are renowned for their lower thermal mass, reducing initial pour foam. They incorporate a "nuke-shaped" internal shuttle made from TPV, ensuring superior laminar flow and further reducing foaming issues. If you prefer an all-stainless steel beer faucet, there's an option with Intertap faucets, and all faucet spout attachments and accessories are cross-compatible between Intertap and NukaTap.
The flow control model is an excellent choice for those who frequently switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. Adjust the flow rate on the fly, without needing to rebalance your lines or fiddle with regulator settings. This feature is also convenient for filling growlers, allowing for gentle filling to retain CO2 and prevent flat beer. Notably, the NukaTap Flow Control faucet is fully compatible with the optional self-closing spring.
KOMOS kegerators also feature Duotight fittings and EVABarrier draft tubing as standard. Duotight push-in fittings provide rapid, reliable, and versatile connections. Setting up and connecting draft lines has never been simpler, eliminating the need for hose clamps or tubing softening. Each kegerator includes Duotight fittings for tower shanks, regulators, and gas line splitting (double & triple tap only). EVABarrier double-walled tubing ensures superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. It's also PVC-free and BPA-free.
